This is the silhouette portion of my Sunshine assignment. I wish the outside would've been brighter but unfortunately it was a cloudy day. Regardless, I still really like how the white blanket, the white hat, and the white table cover outside compliment each other. The fact that you cannot see my sister's face is accentuated by the white popping hat. I think the ends of her hair being visible add a sort of texture to the photo, including the loose strands of hair at the back.
This is my self portrait in the assignment of Sunshine! Although it does not have a lot of artistic qualities, it is an example of modern day. The light behind my hair illuminates and hair and also the corners of my face, creating a sort of rembrandt lighting. There are many distractions in this photo, seeing as it is hard to find an exact focal point, but I feel the blue in the chair brings out the blue shades of my shirt.
Playing with sun flare is so much fun, especially in photo situations where everything is so colourful and vibrant! Definitely one of the more fun types of photos to take. This photo was taken in Hawaii, where the sun is constantly out and shining through the trees. I turned up the saturation to increase the shades of green and yellow against the sun flares.
